We zien dat voor veel internationale water-gerelateerde opgaven vaak technologieën voorhanden zijn en er een hoge ambitie is. Tegelijkertijd zien we dat dit niet genoeg is om tot een succesvol resultaat te komen. Het vermogen van partijen om samen te werken en tot besluitvorming te komen is vaak onvoldoende ontwikkeld. Wij zijn Front runners in procesmanagement en Verbindend Onderhandelen en brengen praktijkervaring in voor het samenbrengen van partijen in complexe samenwerkingen.
We zien dat onze aanpak van meerwaarde is met resultaten die uitvoerbaar en duurzaam zijn. Wij zijn onafhankelijk en gecommitteerd aan de SDG’s en hebben onze sporen verdiend in internationale en water-samenwerkingsopdrachten. Getting things done.

Strategic support Finland to increase role in international water diplomacy
The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland (MFA) is in the process of incorporating the water diplomacy concept in its foreign and development policy toolbox. In order to increase Finland's role in international water-related issues and to connect water better with Finland's other peace mediation activities, Rens de Man has been asked as a water diplomacy expert to support MFA's preparedness to undertake carefully targeted w ater diplomacy actions. Key is the development of a 'forward-looking evaluation' which will provide answers to current information gaps and Finland's possible future role in water diplomacy.

How to create a financially healthy and robust collaboration
The Water, Peace and Security partnership is a collaboration among an expanding group of organisations supported by The Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Current partners include: IHE Delft (lead), World Resources Institute, Deltares, The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies, Wetlands International, International Alert, Oregon State University, and Pacific Institute.
