Making a complex business transformation project digestible for a brewer

Making a complex business transformation project digestible for a brewer

Grolsch Global Template was one of the biggest business transformation programs in life of Grolsch with high level of complexity and several internal and external contributors.

Grolsch was implementing the Global Template project as part of a global SABMiller programme for all their breweries. The objectives were clear: making operational processes more efficient, reducing complexity and improving information quality, supported by one integrated IT-platform (SAP). The project team consisted of representatives from the Grolsch business, System Integrator and the Global Template Organization of SABMiller.

P2 has ensured a smooth start and execution of this business transformation project by:

  • Setting-up the project structure and governance; 'bring the project to life'.
  • Implementing a Project Management Office (PMO).
  • Constructing the initial project plan.
  • Safeguarding project integration, between sub projects and involved parties.
  • Delivering the first results and contribution to the rest of the deliverables.
  • Ensuring E2E process integration.
  • Liaise between business, System Integrator and Global Template Organization.
  • Quality management - Ensure the project was delivered on time and on value.

'Making a complex template deployment project digestible for a brewer and avoid future uncertainty – this is what we asked and what we got from p2.' – Lorant Kovacs (Strategy and Business Development Director at SABMiller – Royal Grolsch)
